Hosenul Islam was born on 27 February 1978.
He completed his bachelor's degree from Osmanpur BU Kamil Madrasa and his master's degree from Boro Rangpur Karamatiya Kamil Madrashah.
Hosenul joined Nayapara Adorsho Secondary School on 1 April 2000 as an assistant teacher.
In January 2014, Hosenul joined the Bangladesh Preschool Education Council as its chairman.
